Bike Fitting

With over 20 years’ experience we have carried out successful fits for a diverse range of cyclists from professional triathletes and touring cyclists to new cyclists and those with physical injuries.

The Bike Fit Process

Ahead of all bike fits, we request the completion of a questionnaire. This will give us a starting point for a bespoke fit and a comprehensive overview of your requirements as a rider. This questionnaire will cover your riding, your goals and any current issues you are coming across. The rider foot-bike interface is essential for a bike fit, and so we spend a sizable amount of time setting out the rider’s cleat position. We then work with the rider on the bike to correct the following:

  • Saddle height, tilt, fore and aft.
  • Reach
  • Handlebar tilt
  • Lever positioning

We require you to bring your bike, cycle-wear (including shorts and shoes).

All our fittings include follow ups and we will provide a document detailing our findings on your new fit. In the very unlikely event that your bike cannot be optimised to fit your needs, we will make this clear at the outset of the fitting. In this instance, alternative advice would be provided.
